This new competition aims to provide schools with a range of physical and creative challenges for their Key Stage 2 and 3 students to compete for the title of TT Kidz Champions.
Each year group to represent your school will compete against the same year groups from other schools across the country. All the challenges can be completed within classroom settings or outdoor spaces using minimal table tennis equipment required and are inclusive and easy to set up, meaning any student can compete in the championship and represent their school.
Any number of students within each year group can compete, with the average score of those students who complete the challenge making the final team score.
The challenges are flexible for your staff to deliver too, all challenges will be made available at the start of the competition so that your staff can choose whether to offer the challenges back-to-back within a P.E session, sporadically as a wet-play activity, weekly as an extra-curricular activity or any which way that works best for you!
Once a school team has completed each challenge within the allocated 6 weeks, each team’s scores can then be submitted via the TT Kidz website for a chance to be crowned TT Kidz Virtual School Champions.
Prizes are available to school bodies with the highest scoring teams from across the country as well as individual students who submit their creative works as part of the range of challenges within the championship.
Each school with the highest scoring year group from across the nation will receive a TT Kidz for School Start Kitbag which an online workshop, session plans and activity cards for your school to deliver high quality table tennis provisions.
